Behind the scenes: John Lewis pop-up
Mar 22Last week we were thrilled to be invited to do a pop-up in John Lewis, Oxford Street showcasing some of our bestselling stationery and doing live personalisation of our Vegan Leather Collection. Being an online brand, we loved meeting so many people in real life, and being able to showcase our range and talk more about what it is that we do.
You may have popped by or seen a little of what we got up to on our Instagram, but we thought we’d do a little round-up here and show you what we featured on our stand, and the bestsellers!
It wouldn’t be a Martha Brook stand without something pink, of course! Our aim was to make our stand beautiful enough it would stop people in their tracks, and as we were right by the escalators on Floor 1, we managed to introduce the brand to people who hadn’t heard of us before. We also got to meet some of our community, so a big thank you to those who made the trip especially!
Being one of the first pop-ups we’ve done in a long time due to the pandemic, our team were chomping at the bit to get stuck in and talk to John Lewis customers about our stationery brand. Our wonderful production and marketing team were on hand to personalise products on the day, as well as Martha and Mr. B!
Our Vegan Leather Collection was extremely popular, with our new Personalised Refillable Notepads flying out, as well as our Personalised Vegan Leather Notebooks. There was also a lot of love for our bestselling desk pads, with our Happiness Planner Desk Pad a particular favourite, and both our new Mum Quote Mother’s Day Card and Luxury Mother’s Day Gift Box big hits for Mother’s Day.
As part of the The Great British Exchange, we were delighted to have the opportunity to pop-up in one of our favourite stores, to meet new and existing customers and to talk more about who we are and what we do. It has definitely inspired talks of more events possibly to come this year… watch this space!
