With the sun hanging around for that little bit longer and the garden waking after its winter sleep, it’s no wonder this season fills us with so much joy and happiness. Wednesday 20th March is the first day of spring so there really is no better time to find ways to embrace Spring and immerse yourself in all this magical season has to offer…

1. Have a spring clean and declutter
First up on our list of lovely ways to embrace spring is by having a good ol’ spring clean. As the days start to warm up (hallelujah!), there is no better time to pop open the windows, let the fresh air in and begin your spring-cleaning rituals and routines. From decluttering your home to re-organising your wardrobe, a spring clean might not sound like one of the most magical ways to embrace Spring for many, but it certainly is the most cathartic and will have you reaping the rewards!
2. Visit a beautiful garden
Springtime is known as the season of new beginnings so of course, one of the best ways to embrace spring is by visiting a garden. Arising from their winter lull, gardens across the country re-open in March/April so you can marvel at some of Spring’s finest offerings as you walk around them. A lovely day trip with the whole family, or a mindful day by yourself, visiting a garden and immersing yourself in nature is always good for the soul!
3. Move your body outside
One of the best things about spring is we finally get some sunlight after work! Whether you’re a first thing in the morning kind of person or an after-work exerciser, moving your body outside is one of the best ways to embrace spring. Listen to the birds chattering and the rustle of the leaves as you go for a run, have a stretch, or do some yoga outdoors. 4. Make a trip to a petting farm
Known as the season of new beginnings, spring is the perfect time to head to a farm or little petting zoo to see the lambs, bunny rabbits and other farm animals that so often spring to mind when we think of this time of year. One of the loveliest ways to embrace spring, there are plenty of petting zoos around which are completely free to visit too so it needn’t be an expensive afternoon with friends and family.
5. Go for a bike ride

Not too hot but not too cold, spring is one of the best time of years to head out on two wheels and enjoy a leisurely ride amongst the backdrop of the bucolic countryside.
