1. Attend Chelsea Flower Show: 22^nd-27^th May

First up on our list of 10 fun things to do in London in May is book some tickets for the famous Chelsea Flower Show. With beautifully curated gardens and the chance for an afternoon tea, it’s the perfect way to spend a day especially if you’ve green fingers. Make a full day of it and take a mooch down the King’s Road in Chelsea to see Chelsea in Bloom. With plenty of shop-fronts taking part, you can tour around their magnificent displays for free.

2. Watch the Kings Coronation on a big screen: 6^th May

The big talking point of May is of course the reason we’re having an extra bank holiday…King Charles Coronation! Head to a park with some friends or family with a picnic in tow and pull up a blanket to settle in and watch on many of London’s big screens where they’ll be streaming live.

3. Attend a Eurovision screening: 10th-13th May

5. Sky high yoga session at O2: 13th-14th May

To mark Mental Health Awareness Week, O2 are bringing back their sky-high yoga classes. Hosted by the one and only Lucy Sesto, The Body Coach’s yoga instructor, we think there’s no better way to start your day calm and collected and with unbeatable views too. All proceeds are donated to the charity YoungMinds.

6. Book tickets for UK Asian Film Festival: From 4^th May

Celebrate the richness of South Asian culture through the art of film at Tongues on Fire’s UK Asian Film Festival. With a variety of screenings and Q&As with actors and actresses, there’s plenty of independent films to enjoy throughout May.

7. Visit Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre

Next up on our list of fun things to do in London is May is to watch one of the performances at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre. With an incredible setting like no other, watch the sunset as you indulge in the varied productions showcasing this summer. One to cross off the bucketlist!
