3. Easter chocolate

Ok, maybe not your most traditional indication that Spring has arrived, but one that is difficult to ignore. Although Easter eggs seemingly start to pop up as soon as Christmas is over nowadays, as we get to March, they are EVERYWHERE – not that we are complaining. Can we really be blamed if a Creme Egg makes its way into our weekly shop? Once April has passed, they will be gone until next year, so we’ll really make the most of this one while we can.
4. Lambs

Potentially (ok, definitely) one of the cutest signs of Spring are the little lambs you get to see frolicking in the fields as you look out of the window on your way to work. These adorable babies are one of the surest signs that we are in the throes of the new season, and they look incredibly cute whilst they’re at it.
5. Greenery

After months of grey skies and miserable weather, with Spring comes a plethora of green, from fresh leaves on the trees to the grass getting a new lease of life. Picnic weather is upon us! The new season makes us want to get outside into nature and enjoy all it has to offer.
6. Pretty Pastels

If there was a ‘stationery signs of Spring’ list then this would be at the top – of course we’re talking about pastels! Around March and April the shop shelves become lined with pretty pastel homewares, and we aren’t immune to the draw of beautiful blush pinks, pale blues and sage greens. Take a look at some of our top pastel picks from our store below!

7. Birdsong

Did you ever notice that mornings can seem eerily quiet during the winter? Well, it’s not just a feeling – birds tend to fly South when the temperature starts to dip, and Springtime means the return of them and their peaceful morning tune. If you start to hear some tweeting outside your windows in the early morning, you know Spring is on its way.
8. Bumblebees

It’s not often you think of insects as being cute, but we think these little ones can be – so much so we put some on a notebook! But spotting bumblebees out in the wild can actually be one of the earliest signs of Spring, especially if you spot a queen bee. It is vital that we do all we can to protect these super important parts of the ecosystem, so we can continue to spot them for many more Springs to come!
