Just because we’re not going back to school, doesn’t mean that we’re not going to take advantage of all of our FAVOURITE things that this season brings. Ink hitting paper on the first page of a new notebook, pencils sharpened to perfection, and plans colour-coded to our heart’s content. Whilst we might not be heading back to the classroom, that doesn’t mean we can’t do a little daydreaming, by coming up with a list of dreamy school supplies we’d pick if we were heading back to school this September. Who knows, some of these may have already ‘accidentally’ fallen into our basket anyway…

Number one on our list of school supplies was always a bag. It had to make a statement whilst staying in the confines of school uniform rules, but as adults there are no such limits! That’s why we would pick one of Fable England’s beautiful bags – although it was tricky to choose just one, this gorgeous Alice Garden Backpack is big enough for all of the school supplies we could need, and also has the most gorgeous floral design.

Perhaps the most exciting purchase each school year for us was a new pencil case. Picking out which design was going to see you through the school year is a core memory. Do snacks count as school supplies? In our books they do. You can’t get through a whole day of working hard without some brain fuel! Does anyone else remember the excitement of getting a new planner on the first day of the school year? By July it would be filled with scribbles and covered in stickers, but on that first day in September it was filled with blank pages and possibilities. Back when we were at school, pretty much everything was done on pen and paper, but not so much anymore.
