One thing we’ve been inspired by this year is the idea of straying away from the usual festive colours of bright green and red into moodier territory.
Perfect for dark winter days, I picked a striking prussian blue, gorgeous cerulean blue / green and deep berry red all mixed together on my watercolour palette with some softer shades. I hand-painted some little baubles and bubbles, which I combined with with typography in matching deep colours to create these greeting cards designs. I’d love to know what you think – are you a fan of experimenting with colour at Christmas time?
