Now that we’ve had Bonfire night and the evenings are drawing in, it’s time to think about the most wonderful time of the year… Christmas! Ok, you you might not be feeling very festive just yet, but we’ve pulled together three useful things to do right now to get you into the Christmas spirit.
1. Write your Christmas card list
Are there any special cards you want to send this year? Do you have any friends celebrating their first Christmas as a married couple, or first Christmas as parents? Or are there certain family members or loved you want to find a particularly lovely card for? We all love receiving Christmas cards and having them displayed in our home in December certainly makes Mr LGI and me feel full of festive cheer. If you want to start planning your Christmas card list, see our range of Christmas cards here.
2. Plan your Christmas drinks or party
Getting together with friends and family is one of the things that makes Christmas such a wonderful time of year. Now is the time to get that date in the diary! Whether it’s a drinks party, festive feast or Christmas Day itself, set the tone with some delightful invitations. See our range here.
3. Write to Father Christmas
Plan what you would like for Christmas! Now is the time to start to think about what gifts to get for other people and what you would like (and if you are me dropping not-so-subtle hints to your other half!). To browse our Christmas shop for ideas see here.
If you have little ones, November is also a good time to write to Father Christmas. Our ‘Letter’ to Father Christmas Set is an inventive way to get little ones in the Christmas spirit and write to Father Christmas or Santa Claus in a new and exciting way.
What do you do in November to get ready for Christmas? Is it too soon for you, or are you super organised?
